The Album
Unfinished Studio Recordings

In 1969 the Plain Brown Wrapper signed a recording contract with Dunwich Productions and began recording their first album which was never completed.  The following tracks are rough mixes from those sessions which were all original songs that the band was performing at the time.

AND NOW YOU DREAM

The official album title was never actually decided. So, this is our  webpage title which is based on the title of the opening song.

AND NOW YOU DREAM
Mix: Studio Practice Track
Instrumental Tracks - complete

Music: Van Decker (1968)
Lyrics: Van Decker, Scott Durbin & Jim Hosley
B3 Organ Solo: Scott Durbin

This album version was quite different than the original 45rpm rock version that was released in 1968. Beginning like the original ballad, it quickly changes into an uptempo jazz-style version with some lyric variations. Scott's organ solo was planned to transition into the second song on the album, Have You Ever?
